The seed of Inner Wheel was sowed by the effort of Rotary Anne Mrs Bhanu Gandhi in the year 2006. She led the informal meetings of the Rotary Annes. The members would meet once in a month and they also accomplished some projects.
The Inner Wheel finally became formal in February 2007 under the leadership of Rotary Anne Sonu Punjabi with strength of 32 members. Seven new members were added in the second year.
